The charming little town of Poultney, VT is home to Green Mountain College. Back behind the college is the Poultney river, the border between New York and Vermont. Ropes have been tied to trees on the banks of the Poultney behind Green Mountain College for many years. Note the cool slate and earthen entry to the rope swing area created by Israeli artist Axel Ewald.
