Well what do you think about this? he said looking at her with a smile. He leaned in closer and her heart skipped a beat. Joe what are you doing? she asked. He suddenly picked her up and threw her in the pool. She swam to the side and looked at him with anger in her eyes. Joe! Now Im soaked! she yelled. Joe couldnt hold in his laughter at how mad she looked. Wait here Ill get you a towel, Joe said still laughing. What about clothes? she said looking down at her now soaked shirt and jeans. Ill grab you one of my t-shirts and shorts, he said. Oh wait Joe come here. She said. He leaned down. Come closer, she said shaking her finger at him. She pulled him in with her so he was now equally soaked. That was uncalled for! Joe said. Oh it was definitely called for, she said laughing. Now they were both laughing. Although soaked and cold they were still having a good time. He helped her out of the pool and they both grabbed towels and went inside. After changing into dry clothes they sat in front of the TV and watched it blank as if something magical was going to pop out. Wanna watch a movie? Joe asked. Yeah Alyssa said smiling. She felt her heart flutter. He popped in Talladega Nights and returned with a bowl of kettle corn they sat very closely as a matter of fact, watching the movie. Every time she would laugh at a part she thought was funny; she noticed he thought that part was funny too. They were both so busy cracking up at the movie they didnt notice how much fun they were having together. Alyssa was so focused on the movie she didnt notice a piece of sticky popcorn hit her head. She turned around and saw Joe laughing. She felt her hair and pulled out popcorn. Hey! she said throwing popcorn back at him. Eventually there was more popcorn on the floor then in the bowl. Suddenly the door opened and the group walked in to find a popcorn mess and Alyssa/Joe with popcorn filled hair. Kevin just stared at them. Uhsee what happened was that Joe started to say. Alyssa started busting out laughing. Uh we better go Carmen said laughing a little. Are you sure you dont want me to help you clean this up? Alyssa whispered to Joe. No its cool I got it Joe said with a smile. I had a fun time, Alyssa said smiling. Me too Joe said. They were too busy staring at each others eyes to notice Carmen and arietta were waiting for her. Uh Alyssa.lets go? Carmen said. Oh sorry! Bye Joe she gave him a quick hug then headed for the door. She grabbed her wet clothes on the way out. Alyssa are you wearing Joes clothes? arietta asked. He pushed me in the pool she replied laughing. They both laughed with her. She smelt the top of the shirt it smelt just like Joe. Uh Alyssa are you sniffing the shirt? arietta asked. No! I was just covering my mouth with it I was about to sneezeI was trying to be polite Alyssa said staring out the window. Arietta rolled her eyes and looked back to the front of the car. Alyssa smiled when she thought of how much fun she had hanging out with Joebut then it hit her. Were just friends she said to herself.
