After a few videos on other films, I have returned to good old Carrie (1976). I hope you find this video as good as the others I've made on "Carrie". This time, after making music video tributes to the characters of Tommy and Carrie, Miss Collins and Margaret White, I decided to make video on poor Sue. Since the story of Carrie, as Stephen King himself said, has powerful resemblances to the story of Cinderella, and since Carrie is Cinderella, Margaret White is the mean stepmother, Tommy Ross is the prince, and Norma with Chris are the mean stepsisters, Sue of course is the Fairy Godmother: she gives Carrie the opportunity to go to the prom and feel true happiness for the first time in her life. Unfortunately, unlike the Cinderella story in which the happy ending takes place, Carrie becomes again humiliated, snaps, and turns the Senior Prom into the Black Prom using her telekinetic powers to take revenge, and then feeling guilty and remorse, she commits suicide --and all because of Sue, who tragically is of the few survivors. Song used is "A Dangerous Mind" by Within Temptation.
