Snippets of 3 unreleased tracks for Liverpool girl group 'The Genie Queen'. - All I Do - Bringin' It - Way Over You The Genie Queen were a group who were active between 2003 and 2006. They were managed by Andy McClusky of OMD who signed them after being approached by member Abigail who wanted a solo deal. He told her that he only signed groups so she recruited members by choosing people she liked the look of when they walked into a clothes shop she worked in. The Genie Queen had 2 different line ups. The original line up featured Abigail Clancy, Anna Ord and Lauren Blake. After Lauren joined Frank she replaced with two new members, Ani Saunders and Gemma. They disbanded after being unable to secure a major record label. After the group Abigail went on to become a successful catwalk and lingerie model. She is also the girlfriend of England Football player Peter Crouch. Anna Ord went on to appear in Shipwrecked 2008 and wants to go into presenting. Lauren Blake joined girl group Frank who had a show on channel 4 called 'Totally Frank'. However after an unsuccessful single and album they were dropped. Ani Saunders has joined girl group 'The Pipettes'.
